Self-Care Saturday: Theme Song

We Need a Theme Song

Let’s have fun today! I wrote a theme song for “Self-Care Saturday” and I want to add more verses, and I want you to participate. You don’t have to worry about anything rhyming or making it fit. In one sentence tell me something that went wrong and how it has you looking forward to your Self-Care Saturday. I will collect these during the week and have a new version next Saturday.

It’s a Self-Care Saturday

The bubbles with wash my troubles away

It’s a Self-Care Saturday

It’s time for me to go out and play

V1

Each day at work I had to stay late

I didn’t have time to go out on a date

I heard my child broke the golden rule

And now he’s been thrown out of school

Chorus

It’s a Self-Care Saturday

The bubbles with wash my troubles away

It’s a Self-Care Saturday

It’s time for me to go out and play

V2

I gave my husband and list or chores

Then I went and shut the door,

I took my phone off the hook

And I sat down with my favorite book

Chorus

It’s a Self-Care Saturday

The bubbles with wash my troubles away

It’s a Self-Care Saturday

It’s time for me to go out and play

V3

There’s a sale down at the local store

My wardrobe is such a bore

I have to pick up some really cute shoes

I have got the working girl blues

Chorus

It’s a Self-Care Saturday

The bubbles with wash my troubles away

It’s a Self-Care Saturday

It’s time for me to go out and play
