We need to remember that arthritis isn’t only for adults. The young people in our community are living with autoimmune disorders, too.

It is estimated that 300,000 children in the US are living with Juvenile Arthritis.

Juvenile arthritis is an umbrella term used to describe the many autoimmune and inflammatory conditions or pediatric rheumatic diseases that can develop in children and teens.

Many of us living with autoimmune disorders have common symptoms that we share. Children and teens experience this as well, but each type of JA is distinct and has its own unique characteristics and how it affects the body.
