September is Self-Improvement Month

Did you know that September is Self-Improvement Month? Do we need a month for self-improvement? I don’t think we do. We need to be working everyday on improving ourselves.

There are so many things that we can be continually working on. Our health, appearance, fitness level, cooking skills, learning, etc.

8 Verses for Self-Improvement

2 Corinthians 5:17 Amplified Bible (AMP)

17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ [that is, grafted in, joined to Him by faith in Him as Savior], he is a new creature [reborn and renewed by the Holy Spirit]; the old things [the previous moral and spiritual condition] have passed away. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard my heart and my mind in Christ Jesus.
