I wrote a blog post about how Lupus can affect the heart. One of my followers asked the question about the link between Lupus and high cholesterol. I find this topic interesting since autoimmune disorders can affect just about every function of the body. So, I started researching this topic and this is what I found.
While I was doing research for a new blog post I found this term "hygiene hypothesis", so I decided to investigate and see what it had to do with autoimmune disorders. I found the information interesting and that this isn't a new term. This has been around since the late 80's.
With so many illnesses now being categorized as and autoimmune disorder/disease, my question is this: "Is osteoporosis an autoimmune disorder?"
